When the excavation depth reaches 1200mm, coffin bollards can be used instead of telescopic bollards . The bollards need to be about 300mm deep. When used, bollards are an effective traffic barrier. When not in use, the bollard sits neatly in its own box and is locked into a vertical position via remote control operation.
